New Ammunition Legislation Effective 2011

Effective February 1, 2011 the delivery or transfer of handgun ammunition must occur in a face-to-face transaction, with the recipient of the ammunition providing bona fide evidence of his or her identity and age.  Non-face-to-face transfers such as internet transactions and mail order deliveries are prohibited effective February 1, 2011.  A violation of this new legislation regarding firearms ammunition is a misdemeanor.  If you are arrested or charged with a misdemeanor, contact Christine McGuire, the Santa Cruz Criminal Defense Attorney/Lawyer, Santa Clara County Criminal Defense Attorney/Lawyer.
