New Laws for 2011 and Minors
A new law for 2011 already in effect prohibits the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors. Teens in California's foster care system will be eligible for extended support benefits up to age 21 providing they meet certain criteria. This legislation will be phased in from 2012 to 2014. Also recent legislation provides that siblings be kept together and allows youngsters to stay in the same school even if moved to a new foster home.
