The Adjudication Hearing is the minor's opportunity to defend himself
or herself against the charges alleged by the Prosecutor. The procedural
safeguards that apply to the minors are as follows:
(1) A minor can present a defense.
(2) A minor can subpoena witnesses to come to court to testify.
(3) A minor has a right against self-incrimination and can testify or not.
(4) A minor has the right to effective assistance of counsel.
