A judge may direct any orders to the guardian or parent that the court determines would aid in securing the child's welfare, including orders requiring the parents or guardian to ensure the minor's regular school attendance and to obtain educational services. A court may order the parent or guardian of the juvenile to attend antigang violence parenting classes when a child has been found to have committed a gang related offense and is a first time offender. A person who is responsible for the child's support is liable for the cost of the classes.
